After all the hours of football and movies, the picture has gotten a bit dull
on your projection. Not to worry in about a half hour you can bring back the
brilliance of yesterday.
Before After
1.Pull the set away from the wall and unplug all the wires and cables.
2.Remove the screws from the bottom section of the cabinet back.
3.Use a cotton cloth , dampened with windex. Do not spray windex inside the set.
4.Wipe the surfaces of the lenses until clean.
Here comes the hard part.
5.Dampen a clean section of the cloth again and reach up inside the cabinet.
and clean the diagonal mirror. It may take several flippings of the cloth, but clean
the mirror thoroughly. Warning some mirrors are merely a thin sheet of mylar
Be very gentle with any mirror, they scratch easily.
6.Unless the TV is in a smokey room, the back of the screen should not need
to be cleaned. The benefits rarely exceed the extra reach needed to
clean it.
